Our Safari to Kenya

This was truly an experience of a lifetime, with adventures and tales galore !!!  To best describe this journey, a chronological approach will be used, so you can truly appreciate the experience!  Over the next couple of weeks, more stories and photos will be added to this log.

But first, Janine & I must thank my father for making this possible!  We have never been on a trip like this, much less an adventure that could take months to document (it's in progress so check back !), and it was only 12 days long!!!!  We have started spreading the word about this adventure, and it's just amazing how receptive and excited everyone is about this tale!  Dad has also added his commentary and stories!  Please return from time to time to read more about this incredible adventure!

Second, we must thank our guide, Jackson W. Kazibue (jackazibue@hotmail.com), for making this safari truly special.  His narratives and game-spotting skills were simply incredible, and so informative.  He was quick to point out the creatures of Kenya, that we would have missed, and then made a point to review all that we saw each evening at dinner.

This map is a snapshot of our travels.  I'll ask our incredible guide (Jackson) to draw out the exact routes at some point!  The dots show where we stayed, with the label: Arrival Day (# of nights)

Since this site continues to grow, with more content about our incredible safari, a What's New page has been added.  Check this page to see if anything has been added since your last visit!
